What is the recommended current shunt connection for my eDAQ Bridge and Low Level layers?
Submitted by Editor on Fri, 10/03/2008 - 14:16.If you want to measure the current flowing through an electrical load, we highly recommend using a non-contact probe or pick-up*.
What is the recommended current shunt connection for my eDAQ High Level, Simultaneously Sampled layer?
Submitted by Editor on Fri, 10/03/2008 - 13:42.If you want to measure the current flowing through an electrical load, we highly recommend using a non-contact probe or pick-up*.
How do I use a String Potentiometer (A.K.A.: String Pot; Yo Yo Pot; Draw Wire Transducer) with an eDAQ Low Level Board (LLB) or Bridge Board (BB)?
Submitted by Editor on Wed, 07/30/2008 - 15:07.For the eDAQ Digital I/O Boards (EDIO and ELDIO) how many Pulse Counter inputs are allowed per connector?
Submitted by Editor on Thu, 06/19/2008 - 09:25.There is a limit of 2 Pulse Counter Channels per Digital Input Connector and a limit of 4 Digital Inputs per Connector.
Where can I find a wiring diagram for my eDAQ Signal Conditioner?
Submitted by Editor on Mon, 06/16/2008 - 16:04.Currently the TCE Help is the most up to date reference for wiring diagrams, cable pin assignments and cable color codes.
Is the Bridge Board wiring the same as the Low Level Bridge Board (LLB)?
Submitted by Editor on Mon, 06/16/2008 - 16:03.The Bridge Board and Low Level Board use the same wiring convention for full- and half-bridge configurations only.
Quarter-bridge configurations use different color codes.
What type of transducers can I use with my eDAQ and eDAQ-lite bridge boards (ELBRG and EBRG)?
Submitted by Editor on Mon, 06/16/2008 - 15:59.The eDAQ bridge boards, ELBRG and EBRG, were designed to be used with resistive-, quarter-, half- and full-bridge transducers that have a DC resistances of 120 Ohms or greater.
Who do I contact for application support?
Submitted by Editor on Mon, 06/16/2008 - 15:55.When you purchased your eDAQ or eDAQ-lite, you likely had an application in mind.
Where do I send my eDAQ or eDAQ-lite for repair and/or calibration service?
Submitted by Editor on Mon, 06/16/2008 - 15:53.Before returning any hardware to SoMat for service, please contact SoMat for a Service Order Number. (SO#).
What is the input voltage and frequency range of the eDAQ Plus’ pulse counter channels?
Submitted by Editor on Mon, 06/16/2008 - 15:50.The frequency range is nominally 0.5 Hz to 50000 Hz for the MPB. At a frequency of 50000 Hz, the accuracy of the measurement is 1.0%. Frequency measurements at 5000 Hz are 0.1% accurate.
