SoMat Launches New Product Line—SoMat Sensors
Users to benefit from integrated data acquisition solutions with pressure transducers.
URBANA, IL, October 9, 2007—SoMat Sensors, a new pressure transducers line, will join SoMat's highly regarded data acquisition systems, the eDAQ and eDAQ-lite, and their proven data analysis software, InField. The new SoMat Sensors, Series SPT-HLS pressures transducers, are compact heavy-duty sensors designed for both OEM industrial and off-road applications where accuracy, repeatability and stability can not be compromised.
This series utilizes a shock resistant thin film sensor as the pressure to electrical conversion element to maintain its accuracy (+/- 0.25% BFSL) over a wide temperature range, extreme dynamic conditions and hostile environments. These sensors are designed to work with a multitude of fluids including hydraulic oils, air and water, and are protected from extreme EMI emissions.
Series SPT-HLS pressure transducers are available in eight pressure ranges from 150 to 9000 PSI. Each transducer carries the CE mark, and is designed and manufactured to ISO 9001 Quality System requirements. Cabling (SoMat Part # SAC-EXT-MF12-2) is included to connect directly to SoMat hardware layers. No wiring, soldering or additional connections are required and may also be combined with standard SoMat extension cables for virtually any cable length.
