Overview
The SoMat Thermocouple SMART Module (SMITC) is a part of a family of signal conditioners for the eDAQ and eDAQ-lite HLS layers.
The SMITC provides isolated thermocouple conditioning with software selectable linearization tables for J-, K-, T- and E-Type calibrations. The module has universal cold junction compensation and is fully isolated to 500 Volts.
Additionally, the SMITC can be programmed to store the thermocouple calibration information. A hardware query by the eDAQ automatically identifies the module, and loads your channel information in TCE (Test Control Environment Software).
